One celebration down, looking forward to the next one, ie GRADUATION! :) Yay! How exciting! It astounds me how much God is taking care of me, to know that He has His hand on my life, providing for me, protecting me, blessing me. It hasn't been easy, but it comforts me to know that God is always there. He never leaves us nor forsake us.

I have been packing my room really slowly. I'm guessing at the pace I'm going at the moment, it should be done by next week. *fingers crossed* Things left to do: pack room, pack for missions, work on message + testimony for missions, collect grad tickets, collect regalia for grad... one day at a time.

I'm eating way too many strawberry bon bons right now. But they are oh-so-yummy! :)

I got a package the other day and it addressed me as Dr Ruth Tay. Gave me the giggles. It is so surreal - I am finally a doctor. :) God is good.

This year must be the best year of my life in NZ thus far. :)

I am coming up to the final week as a Trainee Intern. I signed my PASAF today with my consultant, which means that I am kinda done with my work as a medical student in the hospital - although I still have to attend wardrounds and do work. I have the leniency of taking time off next week to 'pack'. :) But I thought I'd take Monday off to pick my sister up from the airport, and work for the rest of the week (although I am quite tempted to take Friday off just because I know that most of my friends won't be going in to work that day!)

Alluding back to the initial statement of this blog, I must say I'm pretty blessed this year. God has helped me survive as a Trainee Intern, blessed me with a job in Waikato hospital (which was my first choice), gave me a great time during my medical elective in London, Singapore and Brunei, blessed me with wonderful friends who play a big part in making me the person I am today, and most recently, God blessed me with a man :) And his name is Bevan :)
